To survive these severe winters, Mongolian goats develop a dense outer layer and grow an incredibly fine, soft, and warm undercoat—this is the cashmere fiber. The colder the climate, the longer and finer the cashmere grows. This natural adaptation is what gives Mongolian cashmere its globally recognized superior quality.
